What is sodablasting?

SodaBlasting, as its’ name implies, is a process that delivers a bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) based medium by compressed air onto fiberglass, metals, wood, masonry, and other surfaces. Some of the many uses include de-painting, de-greasing, graffiti removal, mold remediation, and fire/smoke restoration.

This is a new state-of-the-art process that is non-damaging and environmentally friendly. The SodaBlast process cleans and strips the most vulnerable surfaces – including fiberglass – with impressive results. And because baking soda is all natural, 100 percent bio-degradable and a water soluble blasting medium, the clean-up is both easy and gentle to the environment.

Will soda blasting damage metal?

No. Our trained and certified contractors have experience when it comes to blasting cars. Once they determine the right amount of pressure necessary to complete the job, they can make the accurate adjustments for blasting.

How many square feet can be soda blasted in one hour?

A good conservative number for SodaBlasting graffiti is between 150~300 sq. ft. per hour. The time depends on what you’re blasting. A flat wall takes less time to blast than the inside or underside of a car, for example.
